When you’re navigating complex health, behavioral, or caregiving challenges, information alone is rarely the problem. The real challenge is making sense of fragmented systems, conflicting guidance, long delays, and decisions that carry real consequences—often while you’re already overwhelmed.
Unconventional Clinician, LLC addresses these non-clinical barriers to care by providing consulting and education services for individuals, parents, caregivers, and professionals who need clarity, structure, and strategic guidance.
These services are often a good fit for:
Unconventional Clinician was created to address the gap between what people are experiencing and how complex systems actually function. This work grew not only from professional experience, but from lived reality. As a parent of children with neuroimmune conditions, I encountered firsthand the fragmentation, delays, and systemic barriers families often face when seeking thorough assessment, appropriate rule-outs, coordinated care, and appropriate services.
That experience revealed how frequently individuals are left to navigate opaque systems, conflicting guidance, and unclear pathways on their own—and how often meaningful, systems-informed support is missing.
With a professional background spanning clinical care, population health, and healthcare consulting, I bring a systems-level perspective to complex, real-world challenges. My work focuses on helping clients understand processes, identify gaps, organize information, and make informed decisions—without providing diagnosis, treatment, or clinical care.
Much of my work has been shaped by exposure to high-demand and complex contexts, including military systems, autism-related care landscapes, severe and persistent mental health conditions, and neuroimmune presentations such as PANS and PANDAS. I understand how overwhelming it can be for families to navigate fragmented systems, delayed diagnoses, and complex care that lacks coordination.
At its core, this is thinking support, navigation support, and strategic guidance for situations where traditional services often fall short.
Educational services are designed to help clients better understand:
Education is informational and empowering, helping clients engage more confidently and effectively with the systems they are navigating.
Care navigation focuses on process and coordination, not clinical decision-making.
This may include guidance around:
The goal is to reduce confusion, improve organization, and support clearer decision-making.
Many challenges persist not because individuals are failing—but because systems are fragmented, rigid, or poorly coordinated.
Systems guidance helps clients:
This service is especially helpful for those encountering repeated barriers or mixed messages.
Parenting and caregiving in complex situations often requires far more than emotional support alone.
This service provides structured, strategic support for parents and caregivers who are:
The focus is on planning, prioritization, boundary-setting, and long-term sustainability—not therapy or treatment.
Case review services offer a structured, non-clinical review of information provided by the client, such as:
Case review is intended to support clarity and preparation, not diagnosis or treatment recommendations.
Important: Case review does not include psychotherapy, mental health treatment, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment planning.

Engagement typically begins with a brief conversation to determine whether consulting services are a good fit for your needs and goals. Services may be offered on an hourly basis, as packages, or through short-term strategic engagements, depending on scope.
